Knitty Gritty

I have decided I am going to learn to knit!  I watch my sisters and my mother doing it all the time.  I have managed to source some really cool vintage patterns from the V&A and other websites that are free.  I really like this 1940's waistcoat.

And maybe when I get better at it one for Geoff!

And I think this balaclava/scarf would be handy at lambing time....the only thing is he would have to start smoking a pipe!
